This is a remote contract role for a PHP Developer at ithinkmarketing.
We are seeking a talented WordPress developer to create and maintain engaging websites for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of WordPress core, theme development, and plugin customization.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites
Customize existing themes or create custom themes from scratch
Develop and modify WordPress plugins as needed
Ensure website security, performance, and responsiveness
Collaborate with designers and content creators to implement new features
Requirements:
Proven experience in WordPress development
Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Familiarity with WordPress best practices and coding standards
Experience with responsive and adaptive design techniques
Understanding of SEO principles and how to implement them
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Elementor page builder (supporting tasks)
Knowledge of WooCommerce for e-commerce functionality
Experience with version control systems and collaborative development tools
