The Consultant – Security Cloud Systems Developer / Security Cloud Architect works as part of the broader Security Operations Center to enhance the security engineering function within the SOC. He/she will also be tasked with ensuring that our assets meeting baseline security standards and that we have visibility and observability across all assets in the estate.
A day in this role:
Leverage infrastructure-as-code frameworks to provision and maintain cloud resources (Terraform)
Design, build, and maintain critical security-related systems for CI/CD, secrets management, and other core services.
Partner with our DevOps team to harden and secure cloud infrastructure.
Work with team members to operate and enhance visibility and observability tools (SIEM)
Work with team members to ensure that our assets meet baseline security standards.
Continually validate our security controls relative to various assets across the estate
Cloud assets
Endpoint assets
Network assets.
SaaS assets
Develop our security validation tooling to ensure that we are continually testing our security posture.
Desired or nice to have expertise:
Preferred – experience with Terraform Cloud
Preferred – experience with containers and orchestration platforms.
