Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and talented Backend PHP Laravel Software Developer Intern to join our tech-savvy team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to work on real-world projects, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to impactful products. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with our development team to design and implement backend functionalities using PHP and Laravel.
Develop and maintain APIs for web and mobile applications.
Write clean, scalable, and secure code that adheres to industry standards.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
Troubleshoot and debug backend issues to ensure smooth performance.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in backend development.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and their integration.
Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and database design.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Understanding of RabbitMQ.
Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Proficiency in containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
Solid background in back-end development with object-oriented coding skills.
Comfort with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis).
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration techniques.
Deep understanding of unit and integration testing, and testing frameworks/libraries.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with an understanding of performance metrics.
Familiarity with agile methodologies, including estimation and time management.
Competence in creating and documenting APIs.
Experience with Laravel Framework
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in backend development projects (personal, academic, or professional).
Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Knowledge of web security principles.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
