Back End Developer


This is a remote full-time/part-time role for a Back End Developer experienced with Node.js. As a Back End Developer, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, designing, building, and implementing scalable software solutions for a variety of client-facing applications. You must be able to work collaboratively with other stakeholders to resolve problems, prevent system outages, deliver seamless end-to-end backend services, and contribute to the continual improvement of the organization's systems and processes.


Qualifications


Technical Skills

  • Able to write clean, well-documented, and efficient codes
  • Experience in database design, both SQL and no-SQL
  • Experience with Linux or Unix based operating systems
  • Excellent understanding of API design patterns and RESTful APIs
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform or similar platform is preferred
  • Able to write automated tests is preferred
  • Able to understand how the whole system is working is preferred


Soft Skills

  • Have a curious and flexible mindset
  • Strong communication skills to discuss and understand technical requirements
  • Ability to deliver high-quality and maintainable work, and be responsible for it
  • Ability to adhere to coding standards and best practices, and attention to detail
