We are seeking an experienced PowerBI Engineer (5-8 years' experience) to design, implement, and maintain Microsoft PowerBI reports. This role requires extensive hands-on experience with data analysis, data visualization, DAX, Measures using Microsoft PowerBI. The ideal candidate will be an individual contributor with a strong background in data analysis, analytics and visualization.
Responsibilities:
▪ Develop, design, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements.
▪ Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand data visualization needs.
▪ Perform data analysis to identify trends and patterns, providing recommendations to transform raw data into insightful and actionable visualizations.
▪ Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and scalability.
▪ Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and dashboards.
▪ Design intuitive and visually appealing web & mobile dashboards.
Mandatory Skills Description:
▪ 5-8 years of experience in Power BI development.
▪ Strong proficiency in Power BI, DAX, and Power Query.
▪ Experience with data modelling, ETL processes, and SQL.
▪ Familiarity with Power BI Service, including publishing, sharing, and managing workspaces.
▪ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
▪ Strong verbal communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
▪ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
▪ Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technology
▪ Business knowledge of financial reporting and performance.
▪ Experience in the financial industry or working with financial data.
▪ Understanding of key financial metrics and performance indicators.
▪ Experience using Microsoft Fabric to build PowerBI reports using direct lake connectivity.
