UI Developer (Shopify)

Overview: We are looking for a talented and experienced UI Developer with a specialization in Shopify to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in front-end development, focusing on creating and customizing shopping cart functionalities to deliver an exceptional user experience. If you are passionate about e-commerce, skilled in Shopify development, and have a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you.

Salary: Php 510 per hour (to be paid in the candidate's local currency).

​Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize shopping cart functionalities using Shopify.
• Build responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Translate design mockups into functional and high-quality Shopify themes.
• Customize CSS to align with branding guidelines and enhance user experience.
• Utilize Shopify Liquid templating language for theme development.
• Integrate Shopify with various third-party services and APIs.
• Optimize web performance to ensure a fast and efficient user experience.
• Collaborate closely with designers and back-end developers to deliver seamless and cohesive projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure smooth functionality and performance.
• Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) and project management tools for efficient workflow.

Requirements

• Proficient in Shopify development, specializing in building and customizing shopping cart functionalities.
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development.
• Experience in creating responsive and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Knowledge of Shopify Liquid templating language.
• Ability to translate design mockups into functional Shopify themes.
• Expertise in customizing CSS to match branding guidelines and improve user experience.
• Familiarity with Shopify's API and integration capabilities.
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
• Collaborative mindset, capable of working closely with designers and back-end developers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and project management tools.
• A plus if built quizzes, and apps from scratch.
