Job requirements:
Completed studies with a focus on computer science/media informatics/geoinformatics / etc. or many years of professional experience as a full-stack JavaScript developer (ideally in the GIS environment)
In-depth understanding of databases (Postgre or SQL) as well as JavaScript web development
Experience in building high-availability and high-performance solutions for processing data streams in a heterogeneous system landscape (in-house developments / standard software, on-premise / cloud)
Experience in providing data in service-oriented architectures (APIs)
Ideally, knowledge of the ArcGIS API for JavaScript or comparable web mapping frameworks (Leaflet, Mapbox-GL, Open Layers)
Knowledge of TypeScript, AngularJS, and Node.js would be an advantage
Enjoy optimizing and automating workflows
Pronounced structured/analytical way of working, process thinking, willingness to learn, self-motivation, and ability to work in a team
Very good knowledge of English
