Senior Ruby Developer

Role: Senior Ruby Developer

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

• Develop advanced solutions using cutting-edge technologies.
• Apply Agile principles in small team environments.
• Advocate for quality practices and innovative software development methods.
• Adapt designs to meet client business needs.
• Participate in code reviews to improve overall quality.
• Collaborate with diverse communities for continuous improvement.
• Enhance code quality, simplicity, and elegance continually.

Qualifications:

• Full-stack developer experienced in Agile, with a focus on Ruby.
• 3+ years developing scalable web applications.
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks.
• Experience with REST and/or SOAP APIs.
• Strong database skills (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Strong commitment to test-driven development (Cucumber, RSpec, Capybara, Watir, MiniTest).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery).
• Design skills in object-oriented methodologies, patterns, database design, and data modeling.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering preferred.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools is a plus.
