THE JOB
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Front-End Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern web development technologies and a proven track record of delivering high-quality, user-centric and data driven applications.
As a Senior Front-End Developer, you will report directly to the Product Manager and dotted line to the CTO and play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications, ensuring they are visually stunning and highly functional.
DAY TO DAY
Develop and maintain responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement user interfaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional.
Work closely with creative and design team to implement and improve design system.
Optimise web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and resolve any issues that arise.
Implement best practices for code quality, maintainability, and performance.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in front-end development.
SKILLS
5+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript.
Strong experience with one or more modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
Experience working with Figma, Storybook and Plasmic.
Experience working with design tokens
Knowledge of build tools and package managers such as Webpack, Gulp, npm, or Yarn.
Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
Understanding of SEO principles.
Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools (Cypress).
Experience with performance optimisation and responsive design.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
