Software Developer (Javascript)

Ciklum is looking for a Software Developer (Javascript) to join our team full-time in Bulgaria.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the team lead, product manager, and marketing stakeholders to vision, develop, and measure
• Design, and develop new client-side features and A/B tests; including self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
• Refactor or retire code; work to decrease tech. debt
• Act as a tech lead for the scope of the tasks; mitigate risks; work to ensure quality and highly performant application
• Contribute to team deployment, CI/CD; including on-call escalation responsibility on production
• Collaborate with IT, Security, and other RnD colleagues to ensure best practices
• Contribute to team knowledge; write technical documents and foster learning
• Promote a good team atmosphere

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as a hands-on developer
• Experience in web application development
• Experience with Angular 2+
• Experience with Unit testing
• Solid knowledge of JS core
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Responsive design
• Experience with RESTful API integrations and non-blocking code

Desirable:

• Experience with Angular, Backbone.js
• Experienced with mobile client development (Cordova or Native)
• Experienced with performance tuning
• Experienced with Integration tests
• Experienced with backend development (preferably nodejs or c#)

• Fast learner
• An eye for detail, strong logic, and analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure with a “can-do” attitude and solid sense for setting priorities
• A persistent focus on delivery in a high-velocity and high-availability environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a positive approach to difficulties, and an imaginative problem-solver
• Good spoken and written English
