Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

• At least 4 years in same field
• MUST be Exposed in; DevOps principles, API, Java

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Apigee developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of API projects.
• Proficiency in Apigee Edge, including API design, development, and management.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Knowledge of API security protocols and standards, including OAuth, JWT, and API key management.
• Experience with API testing tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities:

• API Development: Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Apigee Edge, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and adhere to industry best practices.
• Integration: Integrate APIs with various backend systems and third-party services to enable seamless data exchange.
• Security: Implement and enforce security measures such as OAuth, API key management, and encryption to protect sensitive data.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in API operations, optimizing response times and resource utilization.
• Monitoring and Analytics: Set up monitoring and analytics tools to track API usage, troubleshoot issues, and gather insights for continuous improvement.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive API documentation, including usage guides and API specifications.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product managers, and QA engineers, to ensure API solutions meet business requirements.
• Version Control: Manage API versioning and ensure backward compatibility when making changes.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct testing and debugging of APIs, addressing any issues promptly.
• DevOps: Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation for API deployment and management.
