Role Description
This is a contract remote role for a Back End Developer at Seamark Dev. As a Back End Developer, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to back-end web development, software development, and object-oriented programming (OOP). You will also collaborate with front-end developers and work on programming tasks to ensure seamless integration of various components.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain Python applications using the Django framework.
Collaborate with the development team to identify and create software solutions.
Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
Debug, test, and improve application performance.
Document and maintain software functionality.
Participate in design and code reviews.
Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
Ensure security and data protection settings.
Stay informed about emerging technologies.
Qualifications
Back-End Web Development and Software Development skills
Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
Front-End Development and Programming skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Proven work experience as a Django Developer.
Strong knowledge of Python and the Django web framework.
Experience in working with agile development methodologies
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
