Native Web Developer (HTML, CSS, Javascript/Typescript)

Galsie is an innovative smart home system and assistant dedicated to revolutionizing home experiences. Our mission is to make homes more secure, efficient, reliable, comfortable, sustainable, and intelligent.

We are on the lookout for a Frontend Developer with exceptional expertise in HTML, CSS, Typescript, and python.Responsibilities

• Full implementation of our various websites, including, making contributions to designs.
• Styling with CSS: Theming (light + dark theme), animations, transitions
• Interactivity in frontend design with JavaScript (Typescript) and CSS
• Must be able to implement responsive designs using media screen rules & javascript -- without using any libraries (ie. BOOTSTRAP is NOT allowed)

Qualifications

• 3+ Years individual experience with HTML, CSS, Typescript, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Typescript & JavaScript: jQuery, REST, Ajax.
• Knowledge of: Rest Calls, Local Storage, Cookies, Sessions.
• Experienced in writing Object Oriented, Modular, and Decoupled code.
• Knowledge of various design patterns (Singleton, Factory, Decorator, Builder)

Nice to haves

• Familiarity with DTOs.
• Familiarity with what a Service is, a Controller, etc.
• Familiarity with the MVVM architecture (Model, View, View Model)

Salary

While Galsie is in its early stages and has yet to secure funding, we believe in sharing the success and growth of our company with our team. This is a part time position. The starting salary is set at $300-$400 per month. We understand this may not be competitive with market rates, but we offer a stock ownership plan and stock options as a testament to our belief in the potential of Galsie and its team.
