Umbraco Developer (ASP.NET Core, C#)

DotSee Web Services S.A., a member of the GrowCreate Group, offers Umbraco CMS development and support services to agencies and organizations globally, but also implements its own Umbraco projects for direct clients.

We are looking for a full-time, experienced web developer (back-end or full stack) that will be able to work with Umbraco and/or ASP.NET Core projects remotely (hybrid on in-office also an option, up to the developer).

All candidates should be Greek residents (due to law restrictions regarding hiring). No agents / companies please.

The ideal candidate should have:

• 3-4 years working experience with C#/ ASP.NET Core MVC (being able to work with controllers, view components, views, view models, dependency injection, XML+JSON handling via C#)
• Experience with Git (Github or Azure Devops) with Visual Studio
• Umbraco or similar CMS experience (e.g. kentico, DNN, EpiServer) as a developer.
• Experience working with a front-end development team (external or internal)
• Basic SQL and SQL Server knowledge (simple queries, backups, restores, handling SSMS)
• At least basic JavaScript and CSS knowledge.
• Basic IIS knowledge (bindings, creating a new website, creating a rewrite rule)
• A (very) basic understanding of Azure services
• Experience in working in both Waterfall and Agile fashions
• Excellent English language knowledge (written and spoken)

Experience in Vue.JS is also very welcome but not required.

The candidate will be expected to:

• Participate in new Umbraco CMS projects for end clients
• Participate in supporting existing Umbraco CMS projects for end clients and other agencies (DotSee's and/or the GrowCreate Group's clients)
• Participate in agile sprints for the GrowCreate Group
• Communicate with clients / stakeholders on a technical capacity

Salary range:

1500€ - 2500€ (take-home, x14) depending on qualifications and experience.
