Job Roles and Responsibilities

Deliver functional, efficient, and quality code based on requirements. Perform unit testing and deploy

programs and applications. Troubleshoot debug, maintain and improve existing software

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with management, departments and customers to develop web applications or web

sites used by company, whether these are new applications built in-house or enhancement of

existing applications, using the tools and programming language/scripting provided.

• Review requirements and specifications for all new applications or enhancements, provide

development man-days assessment and deliver agreed upon requirements within the timeline.

• Compile web application or web site packages that are to be turned over to administrators for

deployment to the corresponding servers.

• Prepare technical documents related to software development.
• Troubleshoot web application or web site errors by analyzing the issue or by using other means

(e.g., debugging, simulation, or using other tools) and then provide the corresponding resolution

or fixes.

• Optimize poorly performing web applications or web sites by performing analysis and then

providing the needed enhancements.
