As a Senior .NET Developer, you’ll use your technical expertise to design, develop and maintain the APIs and services that drive a curated marketplace from one of our top clients. You’ll be a part of a multidisciplinary, Agile team responsible for creating new e-commerce experiences. You will have the autonomy to provide new ideas and proactively improve the code/infrastructure using a modern tech stack.


Responsibilities

  • Execute full lifecycle software development
  • Write well-designed, testable, efficient code
  • Document and maintain software functionality
  • Communicate clearly to technical and non-technical teammates
  • Contribute to discussions and drive technical conversations
  • Assist in troubleshooting and discovery
  • Maintain up-to-date best practices and standards
  • Plan, design and develop high-quality solutions using the latest features of C# .NET Core
  • Propose and deliver scalability and performance improvements to our existing applications
  • Migration from AWS to Azure


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
  • 5+ years experience with .NET development
  • Skilled in ASP.NET MVC
  • High proficiency in C#
  • Knowledge of front-end development
  • High proficiency with Git
  • Experience with Azure
  • Proficiency with command line navigation
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL
  • Experience working within a service-oriented architecture
  • Experience with site performance profiling and tuning
  • Familiarity with cutting-edge open-source libraries and experience contributing to projects of personal interest is a plus.
  • Object-oriented programming, SOLID design principles and design patterns
  • Experience using queueing/pub/sub systems like RabbitMQ
  • Experience using distributed cache like Redis


Nice to have

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
  • Experience with DataDog, NewRelic, Honeycomb, or other APM technologies
  • Experience with React, Vue, or other frontend frameworks
  • Experience with AWS services such as RDS, SQS, and Elasticache
