React Full Stack Developer

Our client, a prestigious investment bank, is seeking a Full Stack Developer primarily to focused on defining and executing the migration of the Helios Data asset onto the Risk Data Platform

Accountabilities

• Expertise in UI design, UX design, and front-end development using React JS.
• Appropriately document requirements and specifications that describe input, output, and logical operation; and convert them into code.
• Creation of test scripts associated with Test Driven Development.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant internal instructions (FIMs, GSMs, circulars), internal control standards and external regulatory requirements, including the management of operational risk and adherence to the Group’s standards of ethical behavior.
• Recognizing the constraints of our technology stack and business model, offering technical guidance as needed.

Skills required

• Crafting React JS pages and implementing automated deployment processes.
• Developing, constructing, and managing highly reusable JavaScript, HTML, and CSS code.
• Presenting a portfolio that highlights proficiency in JavaScript and a grasp of SOLID design principles, including plugins and node packages.
• Demonstrating expertise in Git version control.
• Proficiency in utilizing the command line for development tasks.
• Utilizing sitemaps, process flows, and storyboards to visually articulate design concepts.
• Possessing advanced skills in Java, with a mandatory requirement for expertise in the Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Implementing Java data persistence through Hibernate.
• Demonstrating a strong understanding of relational databases.
• Documented recent development experience in the core skills mentioned.
• A comprehensive understanding of the project lifecycle and application development process, incorporating best practices.
• Proven ability to effectively prioritize tasks when faced with competing demands.
• Showing self-motivation and enthusiasm, capable of working independently.
• Thriving under pressure, consistently meeting tight deadlines.
• Accumulating a minimum of 5 years' experience as a full-stack developer.
