Sr. UI Developer

QAT Global, a 25+ years IT consulting firm based in the US, is seeking a highly-skilled Sr. UI Developer with the ability to communicate well in English. This position will work directly with the customer located in the US and with development teams in our US, Costa Rica, and Brazil locations.

• Only hiring QAT Employees (CLT only in Brazil)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a reusable library of accessible React components and design patterns.
• Implement best practices for accessibility, usability, and performance in all components and patterns.
• Collaborate with designers to ensure UI consistency and adherence to design guidelines.
• Work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in web development and accessibility standards.
• Assist in the documentation and dissemination of best practices for component usage and development.

Required Experience

• 5-8 years of professional experience in front-end web development.
• Strong experience with accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA) and implementing accessible UI components, including the ability to lead and direct others with accessibility standards.
• Proficiency in React.js and related technologies (Redux, React Router, etc.).
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• BS/MS in Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
