Job description
The key responsibilities of the Senior Java Developer will include:
Analyzing, designing and developing web applications in a Java (spring boot) environment
Supporting database schemas designs and query optimization
Helping in systems integration
Providing technical support and documentation
Build a team to support the products and lead other devs on the team
KPI driven success of the product
Report directly to CEO
We are looking for
The person we’re looking for needs to have:
A BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or other related field
Working experience with Java Spring MVC Framework, Bootstrap, Javascript, Web services (Rest&SOAP), Spring version 4.2.1, Maven compiler, Mybatis, Postresql
Team building skills
Effective prioritization whilst managing multiple projects at the same period
A flexible, multitasking, detail-oriented and positive professionalism
Strong work ethic and team spirit
Experience of the insurance industry is a strong plus
