Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design robust backend architectures
• Develop high-quality and scalable backend services and APIs using Python and relevant frameworks
• Optimize backend code for performance, scalability, and security
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable operation of backend systems
• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain backend services on cloud platforms
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in backend development and AI security technologies
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with relevant frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django)
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and familiarity with services such as Postgres, EC2, and VPC
• Solid understanding of API design principles and experience in building RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with database systems, both SQL and NoSQL
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
