Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is required.
- Previous work experience as a Java developer, ranging from entry-level positions to senior roles, based on job requirements.
- Proficiency in Java programming language, including solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Experience with Java frameworks and libraries such as Spring, Hibernate, or JavaFX.
- Familiarity with web development technologies like Servlets, JSP, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of web service development, including RESTful APIs and SOAP.
- Understanding of database concepts and hands-on experience with SQL and JDBC for database operations.
- Proficiency in integrated development environments (IDEs) such as IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, or NetBeans.
- Experience using version control systems like Git or SVN for efficient code management.
- Familiarity with build automation tools like Maven or Gradle.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Analytical mindset for understanding and resolving complex programming challenges.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- Understanding of testing principles and experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit or TestNG.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
