PHP 8 Laravel 8 Monolith, and PHP legacy system with JQuery UI

What we expect you to know
Hands-on experience with one of the backend languages such as PHP and Typescript
Good knowledge of relational databases (eg. MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Nice to have experience with modern CI/CD systems and knowledge of cloud services
Familiar with some frameworks such as Laravel, NestJS, etc.
Experience in Scrum and Kanban. SAFe and other agile methodologies are a plus

You are not afraid of asking questions or asking help from your colleagues
You treat everyone with respect, and help others reach their potential
You don’t sweat when writing technical documentation
You can communicate fluently in English, as it is the main working language at Virta, and you enjoy working in an international environment together with development teams and businesses
Your quality solutions are easily maintainable and scalable
Your current residence is in Finland or in Romania
We consider it useful if you have experience with developing a payment system or you have gained financial knowledge during your software development career
