Job Title: Full Stack Back End Developer (Remote)

Location: Remote (with up to 40% travel required for up to 4 weeks at a time)

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Back End Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the back-end components of our web applications, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability. This is a remote position, but you must be available to travel up to 40% of the time for up to 4 weeks at a time.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Back-End Development: Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic and APIs for our web applications using modern back-end technologies and frameworks.

2. Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas, write efficient SQL queries, and ensure data integrity and security.

3. Integration: Integrate third-party services and APIs to enhance the functionality of our web applications.

4. Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the back-end infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

5. Security: Implement security best practices to protect our web applications against common security threats and vulnerabilities.

6. Testing and Debugging: Write unit tests and perform debugging to ensure the reliability and stability of the back-end codebase.

7. Collaboration: Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality web applications that meet user requirements.

8. Documentation: Document code, APIs, and technical specifications to facilitate future maintenance and collaboration.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

- 3 years of experience in back-end development, with a focus on web applications.

- Proficiency in at least one back-end programming language such as Python, Node.js, or Java.

- Experience with back-end frameworks such as Django, Express.js, or Spring Boot.

- Strong understanding of databases and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.

- Experience with version control systems such as Git.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Availability to travel up to 40% of the time for up to 4 weeks at a time.
