Senior Developer (Ad Tech)

Key Responsibilities

• Implement user-facing features using React.js, Node.js, TypeScript and Go.

• Ensure code is adequately covered by unit tests.

• Guide and mentor other engineers, fostering a team environment of knowledge sharing and

skill development.

• Analyze, comment on, and approve Pull Requests.

• Collaborate with Product and fellow engineers to transform requirements into technical

solutions, presenting design options and their tradeoffs.

• Collaborate within fellow engineers to establish and execute best patterns and practices.

• Work closely with the design team to translate visual concepts into functional experiences.

• Contribute to all phases of the SDLC, from design to support rotation.

• Build and trigger CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions or similar tool.

• Build and maintain IaC using Terraform or Pulumi.

• Build and maintain Observability pipelines and alerting.

• Regularly demonstrate and present developed features to the organization.

• Create technical documentation including diagrams.

Qualifications

• Expert-level with least 1 backend technology among C#.NET, Java, Node.js or Go.

• Proficient with at least 1 font-end JavaScript framework such as React.

• Proficient with data modeling and coding against SQL and NoSQL database technologies.

• Proficient with caching and related tooling such as Redis.

• Proficient with containerization technologies (Docker, K8S, etc.)

• Experience solutioning for the cloud with experience with GCP, AWS or Azure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge and/or direct experience in AdTech, specifically in site development, Coreg

Content Management Systems (CMS), ad serving technology, bidding, ad targeting, or real-time auctions.
