Systems Software Developer - React/Python

We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Software Developer to join our team in SWARCO Smart Charging Ltd. The role is Home Based.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software solutions for Electric Vehicle Charging solutions inclusive of EMP and CPO systems.
• Collaborate with teams to drive the future direction of the solution.
• Develop new features and support existing codebase.
• Collaborate with Hardware Solutions team and other teams on joint roadmaps.
• Monitor system uptime and investigate issues.
• Identify new requirements with internal stakeholders and estimate development effort.
• Assist team with backend development within our Python based microservice architecture.
• Assist in maintaining hosting architecture to ensure the business meets minimum uptime agreements.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• Commercial experience in developing front-end applications using React/React Native as well as Python backend.
• Relevant technical skills in a Software Development environment.
• Good Communication skills.
• Advantage: GUI Design, Java & PHP.
• Commercial experience in React, React Native & Python.
• Ability to architect and develop tests within code.
• Experience with microservice architecture, API design and development focusing on REST principles.
• Passion for learning new languages and technologies.
• Knowledge of RMQ, Docker, Keycloak, Hasura, GraphQL, API Gateways & Grafana and object-oriented design patterns.
• Experience in database design, SQL queries and optimisation techniques (Postgres & MySQL).
• Proficient with Linux (Debian based, Ubuntu)
• Ability to estimate technical effort, debug complex issues, and work on large codebases with minimal documentation.
• Experience with Git, Agile methodology, and cloud hosting environments such as Linode, OVH, AWS.
