Senior Backend Developer (Python)
Gorilla Logic is looking for a Senior Backend Developer with exceptional web services and other backend development skills to work as a member of an Agile team responsible for building and maintaining our client’s web and/or mobile applications. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. Gorilla Logic is looking for a Senior Backend Developer with exceptional web services and other backend development skills to work as a member of an Agile team responsible for building and maintaining our client’s web and/or mobile applications. Responsibilities
- Work with an agile team to build, maintain, and optimize our client’s applications
- Mentor fellow developers
- Work with DevOps and QA to build a quality-focused CI/CD pipeline
- Responsible for code reviews, testing, and delivery of high-quality maintainable code
- Work in an Agile environment to define, estimate, and work user stories
- Proficient English and communications skills required
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of backend development experience with Python
- Experience in writing tests in Pytest, Nosetest
- REST API design and implementation
- Self-starter and takes ownership
- Experience with Kotlin
- Familiarity with Chronosphere for observability
