Sr ServiceNow Developer
Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities
- Develops the ServiceNow application including configuration, report development and data migration, where applicable
- Performs custom development in ServiceNow (as required) and 3rd party integrations.
- Carries out unit-testing and defect resolution.
- Carries out migration of the changes to production.
- Assists with technical design and documentation.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders and team members to build solutions in ServiceNow that support business requirements.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Eng or related field
- 5+ years technical software development experience, preferably in ServiceNow or other low-code platforms
- 2+ years of JavaScript coding/development skills in ServiceNow environments, preferably in IT Service Management, Field Service Management and/or Enterprise Asset Management
- Understanding of JavaScript
- Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow administration capability and can design, build, and customize ServiceNow applications and services.
- Able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Uses SCRUM/Agile development methodologies. Documents and follows established processes for both operational and agile/project development work.
- Demonstrated experience with various ServiceNow Products (ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, HR, SecOps, CSM, GRC, etc.)
- Proficiency in ServiceNow development, including scripting (JavaScript), UI policies, business rules, and client scripts by employing ServiceNow and coding best practices.
- Public Trust will need to be acquired
- ServiceNow System Admin certification required (admin or higher)
