We are eagerly pursuing a Senior Java Developer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate must have AWS expertise and a solid grasp of Data Structures and Algorithms.

As a member of our team, your role as a Product Engineer will involve the design and creation of software solutions that exhibit scalability and are easy to maintain. Expectations for this position include proficiency in multiple tech areas such as Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, alongside familiarity with Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. The role demands teamwork with a group of developers, testers, and other contributors to facilitate product delivery that is both timely and successful.

Responsibilities

• Understanding project needs through cross-functional team collaboration and devising solutions
• Developing and implementing software solutions that are scalable and maintainable
• Employing clean coding principles for code generation and maintenance
• Conducting code reviews to maintain coding standard compliance
• Establishing and maintaining automated tests for quality deliverable assurance
• Taking an active role in Agile/Scrum development processes and ceremonies
• Ensuring the timely delivery of quality code
• Documenting code and system architecture
• Engaging actively in system design and architecture discussions
• Providing technical support and mentorship to junior developers
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field
• A minimum of 4 years' experience in software development with a focus on Java
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms
• Prior exposure to Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs and Integration
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
• Sound knowledge of Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
• Strong sense of responsibility and proactive approach to problem-solving
• English proficiency at the upper-intermediate level or higher, with strong verbal and written communication skills

• Previous experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Big Data technologies: Hadoop or Spark
