Our current technology stack includes
PHP 8 Laravel 10 Monolith, and PHP legacy system
NodeJS microservices with Typescript and NestJS
React based end user UI’s
MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, Redis, RabbitMQ, and Kafka, all running on AWS
Microservice deployment on top of Kubernetes
GitLab Pipelines for CI/CD
What we expect you to know
Hands-on experience with PHP/Laravel and Node.js is a big plus.
Previous experience in developing scalable and maintainable APIs, using PHP/MySQL.
Good knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript.
Familiarity with databases (eg. MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Developing interactive UIs using React.js.
Good experience with modern CI/CD systems and knowledge of cloud services (eg. AWS).
Familiar with some frameworks such as Laravel, NestJS, Express.js, etc.
Experience in Scrum or another Agile way of working.
We consider this an advantage if you have prior experience in consulting companies, particularly direct involvement in professional services units and customer projects.
What we expect from you
Offer technical guidance, work estimation and technical consultancy for customer projects.
Drive the development of solutions for customer projects.
Collaborate with the project team (Project Manager, Solution Consultant, Test Engineers business stakeholders, etc.) to ensure the delivered solution aligns with the customer's requirements.
You are not afraid to ask hard questions or asking help from your colleagues.
You can communicate fluently in English, as it is the main working language at Virta, and you enjoy working in an international environment together with development teams and businesses.
Currently, we are only considering candidates from Romania. We are not offering B2B contracts at this moment.
