Frontend Developer

Spiky.ai analyzes online meetings to offer actionable insights for customer-facing teams.

The platform is built on AWS, utilizing Amplify, AppSync, and other serverless AI/ML services. This is a full-time position. Stock options will be provided to team members based on their seniority level, with the aim of fostering long-term relationships and growing the company together.

Responsibilities

• Optimizing the application/websites/mobile app for performance
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate Figma design prototypes into meticulously crafted, responsive, and visually appealing frontend implementations.
• Develop quality software / web / mobile applications
• Implementing automated tests to ensure the quality of the code
• Building modular and reusable components and libraries and delivering modular and responsive code
• Developing user-friendly applications

Qualifications

• Min. 4 years of software development experience in a professional work environment
• Solid understanding of ECMAScript (ES6 and beyond) for writing modern, maintainable, and efficient JavaScript code
• Experience with (ReactJS, nextJS, JavaScript, Typescript, HTML & CSS)
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks (cypress, react-testing-library, jest, or similar)
• Experience with consuming RESTful APIs
• In depth experience of version controlling, branching models, git/Github workflows and PR review cycles
• In-depth understanding of data structures, algorithms, Clean Code, and SOLID principles
• At least 2 - 3 years of experience in AWS (e.g., AppSync, Lambda, DynamoDB, API GW & Cognito)
• At least a bachelor's degree from a related field
• [Preferred] Knowledge of backend development concepts is preferred to facilitating effective collaboration with backend developers for seamless end-to-end functionality
