SENIOR BACK-END DEVELOPER (SYMFONY, PHP)

Responsibilities

• Implementing architectural changes, and adhering to clean code and coding standards best practices.
• Collaborate closely with the Front-end team to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of the applications.
• Develop back-end functionalities using Symfony 6 and PHP 8 to create robust and scalable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to the technical growth of the team.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Back-end Developer, with a strong background in Symfony and PHP.
• Solid understanding of architectural principles, clean code practices, and coding standards best practices.
• Proficiency in Symfony 6 and PHP 8, with the ability to build efficient and reliable back-end solutions.
• Knowledge of open API standards and experience with PHP unit testing are considered advantageous.
• Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Our Tech Stack

• Front-end: Angular and some parts of React; transitioning to Cypress for testing.
• Back-end: Legacy - Symfony 3 and PHP 7; New - Symfony 6 and PHP 8 with PHP unit testing.
• DevOps/Infrastructure: Legacy - GitHub and Jenkins; New - GitLab, Google Cloud (GCP), Terraform, and Cloudflare.
