Client’s is looking for multiple software engineering contractors to join our Code Intelligence team.
These contractors would be responsible for keeping critical parts of Client’s, like profile and user in a healthy state, while supporting other functionality like feed in maintenance mode.
We are specifically looking for software engineers to help improve engineering fundamentals in these areas by completing defined projects with quantifiable success metrics.
Candidates should have excellent debugging and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Work with stakeholders to understand technical constraints, and develop, communicate, and track against realistic plans to ship bug fixes and improve engineering fundamentals (availability, accessibility, and security) in well-loved parts of Client’s
Coordinate with engineering leadership, customer support, and other teams to define and prioritize projects that help us meet business objectives
Ensure compliance with Client’s software development best practices and industry standards
Required Qualifications:
6+ years’ experience writing production grade Rails, especially along with React
Experience designing, building, scaling and maintaining distributed systems
Experience in testing, production system monitoring, and observability
