Due to it's succefsful maket presence in Romania over the years, our client offers services ranging from application management to process integration to customized developments. Position on this project is for migrating Java Spring application to AWS. For that purpose, experienced Java Backend Developer is needed with skills in both areas (Spring & AWS).
What You'll Be Doing
Regular activities throughout the software development cycle, including requirements engineering, software and system design, implementation, testing, documentation
Backend development using Java, Spring, SpringBoot, REST
Using Infrastructure as code (CDK)
Ensure that the team follows best practices for AWS development
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and compliance with standards
Stay up to date with the latest developments in AWS technology
Perform code reviews, and adhere to coding & branching principles
Engage in knowledge sharing sessions with peers from similar projects
What You'll Bring Along
Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree in a software engineering-related discipline (preferably in Computer Science); or equivalent experience
Having 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
Strong understanding of Java, Spring, SpringBoot, REST
Advanced cloud experience in AWS Cloud
Experience with IaaC (CDK)
Experience working in an agile organization
AWS certification is a plus
Excellent command of both spoken and written English
