Produce high and low-level design documents (ie. application diagrams, flowcharts, sequence diagrams, etc.).
Write well-designed and testable code.
Perform code reviews to maintain code quality
Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade existing systems.
Plan, design, and manage cloud infrastructure, including setup, maintenance, and monitoring. Collaborate closely with team leads to align with the system architecture.
Undergo training on AWS Cloud Technologies to be able to handle Cloud-related tasks for new hires with zero or minimal AWS experience. For experienced hires, it is an upgrade to your AWS skills.
Support continuous improvements like R&Ds on alternatives and new technologies.
Guide junior and co-senior dev members, providing assistance when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 3+ years of experience with Node.js and backend development
Experience in application design (UMLs, sequence diagrams, ERD)
Proven work experience in Web application development and REST APIs
Experience working with Relational Databases (ie. MySQL, Postgres, etc.)
Git proficient
Knowledgeable on software engineering tools (ie. Jira or similar, UML tools, slack, etc.)
Good problem solving skills and attention to detail
Nice to Have:
Java/Spring Boot development experience
Experience in AWS, DevOps
Basic/Proficient Linux skills
Experience in using Docker
Extra Awesome:
