Must-have Skills

•Good/excellent Java knowledge and specific experience with:

•Threading, concurrent programming (java.util.concurrent.* packages)

•Functional programming

•Object-oriented programming

•Maven & Eclipse

Good-to-have Skills

•Framework knowledge, Apache commons, log4j2, lombok, Jackson JSON parser (databind), CORBA (basic knowledge)

•JUnit5 and Mockito

•The ideal candidate has not only heard of GIT but also used it

•SVN (Tortoise-SVN - it would be nice if it was already used in a project)

•RabbitMQ A bit of basic knowledge should be available (overview and possibly usage).

•It would be good if the person has also done 3rd-level support and looked for/ fixed some errors in the source code.

•Security tools and frameworks, such as: B. KeyCloak would be advantageous.

•Creating user interfaces in HTML (possibly Angular or similar) would be advantageous, but not a must.

•Basic Cloud knowledge would also be beneficial.

•XML (Maven POM file) and JSON – Knowledge (for RabbitMQ communication) would be beneficial.

Nice to have Skills

The person should have knowledge of:

•Jenkins (CI/CD tools)

•SonarQube

•Jira

•Confluence

•Tools like FileZilla or WinSCP

•MySQL/MariaDB and Oracle databases

•Linux knowledge would be advantageous.

•Shell - can create scripts - be able to use shell command line

•Packaging for DEBIAN packages would be a plus (e.g. with debuild/pdebuild/dpkg-build package or similar tools). (especially in combination with Maven)

•German language B2-C1
