We're looking for a senior back-end engineer to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
You should be comfortable around back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be able to take your code all the way to production.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
Write effective and testable APIs
Work on front- and back-end services implemented in C#, .NET, JavaScript and PHP.
Write high quality and maintainable code in C#
Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
Seeing through a project from conception to finished product
Meeting both technical and consumer needs
Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages
About You
Experience building backend systems with one or more programming languages such as JS/Node.js, C#, Java, python, or other
Familiarity with databases tech (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB)
BS/MS in engineering, computer science or a related field (optional)
Proven experience designing, implementing cloud based applications
Strong communication, organisational and analytical skills
Top 3 skills: C#/PHP (nice to have), SQL, Cloud SDK
At least 2-3 years in the industry with experience working in fast paced and agile teams
Experience with cloud environments
Experience with DevOps practices
Experience with TDD
