The primary purpose of this role is to develop and enhance Sound Advice's mobile and web applications. The Senior Frontend Engineer will be crucial in building an existing React Native mobile app and a React web app. The ideal candidate should be adept at working with both platforms and possess a strong background in React Native, with previous job experience in this framework. A solid understanding and practical application of Agile methodologies in a previous role is essential. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication in our diverse and dynamic team.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and enhance the React Native mobile app and React web app.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure robustness, performance, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
Stay up-to-date with new technology trends, applications, and protocols in the mobile app and web development realms
Requirements
Proven experience as a Frontend Engineer focusing on React Native and React applications.
Experience in Agile methodology and its practical application in previous roles
Experience creating mobile apps that are heavily focused on UI/UX
Prior experience in React Native and React.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services.
Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Flexibility to adapt to project timelines and deadlines.

Prior experience in a remote working environment
Has used Expo Managed Workflows before
Has created an app that we can find on the App Store/Google Play store
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines for mobile apps
