Role Description
This is a Freelance Developer (Software Engineer) role that is remote and part-time. As a Freelance Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining backend infrastructure using TypeScript and Lambda in AWS. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of passionate individuals who are creating and disrupting the food industry with cutting-edge technology.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency with AWS Lambda.
Strong proficiency with Node.js, npm, TypeScript and JavaScript.
Experience with the npm Sharp library.
Experience with Bash scripts.
Experience with writing efficient Node.js clean code.
Experience with media optimization, including GIF and Video processing.
Experience with Amazon S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, CloudFront and Amazon Rekognition.
Proven track record of creating and maintaining highly scalable serverless applications
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment, including understanding of Git and agile development methodologies
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, or a related field, is a plus
