We are looking for an efficient, friendly, and motivated Java Developer to join our team. At least 3 years Java development experience, a strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms. Experience with Spring Stack (Сore, MVC, Boot). English B1+
Project – Direct Dispatch for domain Arlo (https://www.arlo.com). Arlo company provides devices and services for Smart Home System, including security with AI. Today, it operates on 5 continents and in 60+ countries. The Direct Dispatch project is a direction for Arlo company in Smart Home Security. Arlo provides various smart secure devices, including camera, sensors etc. The project is a part of Professional Monitoring and allows users to call emergency services using a mobile app when it is required or calling the services automatically by smart devices when AI detects some alarming event.
Distributed team: Poland, Kazakhstan, Ireland, management is in California. Remote work is allowed.
Required skills:
3+ years of experience in Java/J2EE
Understanding of OOP principles
Understanding of software best practices (design and architectural patterns)
Good knowledge of classic algorithms and data structures
Understanding of REST API architecture principles
Confident knowledge of Spring Stack (Сore, MVC, Boot)
Beneficial Skills:
Experience working with NoSQL databases (Redis, DynamoDB)
Understanding of Agile development methodologies
Experience in AWS
Experience with any pub/sub system
Responsibilities:
Take full responsibility for the development of a small feature
