Role Description
This is a contract Back End Developer role that is remote. The Back End Developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining server-side web application logic using back-end frameworks and programming languages. The Back End Developer will also be responsible for designing and maintaining the central database and ensuring high-performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. Other responsibilities include developing and maintaining internal tools as well as ensuring cross-functional collaboration with front-end developers and UX designers.
Qualifications
Back-End Web Development
Experience with back-end frameworks such as Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or Django
Experience with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL
Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN
Understanding of security and data protection
Ability to develop an admin dashboard and can integrate chat and calls
Ability to work independently and remotely
Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, proficiency in Linux/Unix environments, familiarity with agile methodologies, and an understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
