We are looking for a Principal / Senior PHP Backend Developer to join our team and build our user management system, support the integration and management of our usage based credit and billing system, and provide easy to use APIs for all our services.

Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Principal / Senior PHP Backend Developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and debugging PHP applications, building and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and functionalities. Additionally, the role requires a person to write clean, SOLID, and easily maintainable code.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in PHP Backend Development
Experience with RabbitMQ and asynchronous programming concepts.
Expertise in designing and developing APIs, integrating with various DBs
Excellent understanding of front-end development principles, able to cooperate closely with React developers on building the backend services for our Javascript frontend
Obsession with unit testing, documentation, code health and scalability
Experience with unit testing frameworks and code version control systems (e.g., Git).
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and passion for building high-quality software and driving continuous improvement
Ability to work autonomously in a disciplined way, in a remote team environment. Maintaining tasks and tickets up to date, communicating clearly with stakeholders, etc. .
