The Client

The client is a global leader in management consulting. With offices in 60 cities across 29 countries, they combine deep industry knowledge with specialized expertise in strategy, operations, risk management, and organization transformation. The firm has more than 5,000 professionals around the world who work with clients to optimize their business, improve their operations and risk profile, and accelerate their organizational performance to seize the most attractive opportunities.

The Project

Our client is aiming to create a pricing tool as a SaaS for private banks to calculate pricing for high net worth individuals. Because the pricing is individualized, banks lose track of what discount they offered to which client for which service, and it’s difficult to understand if they actually make money on the account.

The solution does two things

1. Create visibility of which clients have which pricing conditions for which services and allows banks to understand the profitability of each account in detail.
2. Optimize pricing - either by suggesting a pricing strategy for the analyzed client portfolio to improve their profitability or by reviewing a suggested pricing strategy that the client already planned and offering room for improvement.

The client makes money in 3 ways:

1. Implementation and setup fees / One-off fees for the analysis and optimization package.
2. License fees once the Monitoring and Optimization Solution is implemented.
3. Revenue share once new pricing is implemented and profitability has been improved.

The project is running for about 2 years now. It's build with the highest standards - their way of building software super professional; well documented and maintainable code, so it will be a pleasure to work on it.

They need a Backend Python Developer to work on the implementation at their clients side.
